We are looking for a dedicated and organized Media Coordinator to oversee the APT Live Blog Team and coordinate with the media and marketing teams. This role involves managing freelance writers, editing content, ensuring quality image usage, writing press releases, creating social media copy, and generating engaging content to promote APT events.

Key Responsibilities:

APT Live Blog Team Management:

• Arrange freelance writers for each series.

• Collaborate with the senior media coordinator and marketing to create a blog schedule.

• Focus on the tour’s three signature events and other notable events.

Editing:

• Proof and edit live coverage to align with APT guidelines.

• Ensure high-quality reporting and recaps during live events.

Blog/Photographer Liaison:

• Coordinate with bloggers and photographers to meet all image needs.

• Ensure proper usage and labeling of images in the Strapi media library.

Image Gallery Management:

• Ensure sufficient image usage in live coverage.

• Maintain proper labeling and organization of images.

Event PR Writing:

• Work with the senior media coordinator to set daily PR stories.

• Schedule and create two daily press releases covering main and side events.

Copywriting:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create social media copy.

• Highlight live coverage, live stream schedules, records, results, and winner announcements.

Content Creation:

• Identify opportunities for interviews and feature writing during and between series.

• Liaise with the marketing team to promote articles through social media.

Feature Writing:

• Develop stats-based features and articles to highlight player achievements.

• Work with the media/videography team to integrate content with video releases on the APT YouTube channel.

Newsletter Management:

• Work with the senior media coordinator and marketing team to create content for the monthly APT newsletter.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience in content management, editing, and copywriting.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with media and marketing teams.

• Familiarity with poker events and terminology is a plus.
