PHU QUOC, VIETNAM, November 16, 2024 – Jack Richard Maris from Australia, a regular on the Oceania and Asia poker circuits, finally claimed his maiden APT title in Event #73: Hyper Turbo - High Roller. Maris navigated through a challenging field of 33 entries (27 unique) to take home the top prize of VND 159,895,000 (~USD 6,296). This is also Maris’ first title in an Asian circuit.

South Korea's Doyeon Yoon delivered an impressive performance to secure the runner-up spot, earning VND 110,190,000 (~USD 4,339). Thailand’s Nontapat Wattana rounded out the top three with a payout of VND 70,220,000 (~USD 2,764).

Taiwan's Li Ta Hsu, adds yet another cash finish to his impressive series run by taking second place for VND 23,220,000 (~USD 910). Japan's Kindaichi Kazuki rounded out the podium with a third-place finish, earning VND 14,510,000 (~USD 570).

Daniel Adam Haywood from New Zealand claimed his maiden APT title in Event #68: Omaholic, overcoming a competitive field of 19 entries (13 unique). The Kiwi showed his prowess in the Omaha format, bagging the top prize of VND 55,111,600 (~USD 2,170). This victory also marks Haywood's first title in the series, adding to his earlier cash finish during the festival.
