MANILA, PHILIPPINES, November 1, 2024 – China’s Jiaqi He celebrated his first APT title in Event #43: Single Day High Roller, outlasting a competitive field of 60 entries (46 unique) to take the top prize of PHP 2,290,000 (~USD 38,930). This win marks a significant milestone in He’s poker career.
Ireland’s Gary Thompson finished as the runner-up, earning PHP 1,650,000 (~USD 28,050), while the Philippines’ Moses Saquing secured third with PHP 1,072,000 (~USD 18,224). Charles Ed Pansoy of the Philippines made his third final table appearance of the series, narrowly missing out on the podium but finishing fourth overall.

Taiwan’s Li Ta Hsu, with over USD 600,000 in live earnings, celebrated his first APT title in Event #42: Big "O" Masters - PL Omaha Hi-Lo - 5 Card. Hsu, who had previously made a final table appearance this series, bested a field of 24 entries (18 unique) to capture the top prize of PHP 388,000 (~USD 6,596).
Australia’s Alex Tchong finished in second place, taking home PHP 361,910 (~USD 6,152), while Canada’s Gary Yip secured third with PHP 357,210 (~USD 6,072).

Japan’s Keita Kitamura captured his fourth APT title in Event #48: Turbo - PL Omaha High, solidifying his position as a formidable player in the Omaha format. Kitamura, along with the top three finishers, agreed to share the majority of the prize pool, with each receiving PHP 110,000 (~USD 1,870), while Kitamura took an additional PHP 39,376 (~USD 670) and the trophy for finishing in first place.
Hong Kong’s Shing Kit Kwan, who already has two titles this series, added another final table appearance with his second-place finish. Malaysia’s Ben Soon Yung Loo rounded out the top three.
