MANILA, PHILIPPINES, October 30, 2024 – Mongolia’s Batnyam Zayabaatar secured his first APT title in Event #29: Hyper Turbo - High Roller, after reaching a deal with runner-up Yuji Yaginuma to take home the trophy. Zayabaatar’s accepted a smaller cash prize of PHP 231,000 (~USD 3,927) to secure the trophy for himself. This event is also Zayabaatar’s second cash of the event.

Japan’s Yuji Yaginuma took the larger cash portion, earning PHP 271,000 (~USD 4,607), while Malaysia’s Lee Wee Liew rounded out the top three, taking home PHP 131,000 (~USD 2,227).

Kwan Wins Second APT Title in Event #22: PL Omaha High

Hong Kong’s Shing Kit Kwan claimed his second APT title in Event #22: PL Omaha High, following his previous win at the APT Taipei Poker Classic 2024. Kwan outlasted a field of 26 entries (19 unique) to take the top prize of PHP 187,916 (~USD 3,194).

The Netherlands' Tony Khoang, making his second final table appearance and finishing as runner-up once again, took home PHP 126,000 (~USD 2,142). Fellow Hong Kong player Tsz Kan Ip rounded out the top three, earning PHP 81,000 (~USD 1,377).

Japan’s Yuma Endo captured his first APT title in Event #23: Turbo - Double Stack, emerging from a field of 59 entries (51 unique) to claim the top prize of PHP 89,741 (~USD 1,525). This victory marks an impressive achievement for Endo, an amateur player making his mark on the APT stage.

Mongolia’s Sandagdorj Munkhbaatar took second place, earning PHP 65,000 (~USD 1,105), while Hong Kong’s Anthony Wong secured third with PHP 42,000 (~USD 714).

Japan’s Keita Kitamura captured his third APT title in Event #30: Hyper Turbo - NL Single Draw Mix. Kitamura, who also marked his second cash of the event, took down a field of 16 entries (15 unique) to claim the top prize of PHP 58,019 (~USD 986).

China’s Song Wang, also recording his second cash of the event, finished as the runner-up, earning PHP 30,000 (~USD 510), while fellow Chinese player Zhun Wang took third with PHP 20,000 (~USD 340).
