PHU QUOC, VIETNAM, November 8, 2024 – Chinese poker pro Mingcong Chen claimed his first APT title in Event #3: Single Day High Roller - Freezeout, adding a significant victory to his impressive poker career that includes over USD 400,000 in live tournament earnings. Chen showcased exceptional skill, outlasting a competitive field of 30 entries to take the top prize of VND 484,520,000 (~USD 19,075).

Fellow countryman Yankai Zhang finished as the runner-up, earning VND 333,920,000 (~USD 13,145). Australian pro Dylan Wayne Foster battled through several critical flips and all-ins to secure third place with VND 212,790,000 (~USD 8,378).

Shalaev showcased his expertise in mixed game formats, beatinga field of 7 entries (6 unique) to take home the top prize of VND 34,807,900 (~USD 1,370).

Japan’s Hayashi Kentaro claimed the runner-up position, earning VND 19,580,000 (~USD 771).

Thai amateur Veeramate Laoraoviroj won his first APT title in Event #4: Turbo - PL Omaha High. Veeramate overcame a formidable field of 26 entries (21 unique) to earn the top prize of VND 65,255,200 (~USD 2,568).

Israel’s Danino Aviel finished as the runner-up, taking home VND 43,500,000 (~USD 1,713), while Lithuania’s Karolis Cekauskas secured third place with VND 27,960,000 (~USD 1,101). Russia’s Ivan Ermin rounded out the top four, earning VND 18,640,000 (~USD 734).
