PHU QUOC, VIETNAM, November 12, 2024 – Event #29: High Roller - Double Stack attracted 117 entries (78 unique), bringing together some of the best high rollers on the APT circuit. After a grueling Day 1, only 41 players remain, with 17 set to be paid by the end of the event. They will fight on in the Final Day looking for a share of the VND 6,128,460,000 (~USD 250,141) prize pool.
Leading the pack is Australian pro Dylan Wayne Foster with 1,729,000 chips. Foster, who already secured a third-place finish earlier this series in Event #3: Single Day High Roller – Freezeout, will be pursuing his first APT title after coming close on multiple occasions in previous APT festivals.
Hot on his heels is Serbia’s Milos Skrbic, holding 1,321,000 chips, followed closely by Nang Quang Nguyen from Vietnam with 1,234,000 chips. South Korean pro Gab Yong Kim—a seasoned pro with over USD 3 million in live tournament earnings and a finalist at the APT Manila 2024 Main Event—is also in a strong position, holding 1,030,000 chips. Rounding out the top five is another local hopeful, Nguyen Manh Hao, with 961,000 chips.

Shalaev Secures Fourth APT Title in Event #30: Big "O" Masters - PL Omaha Hi-Lo - 5 Card
Shalaev equals his trophy haul at the recently concluded APT Manila.
Russia's Daniil Shalaev continued his winning streak by clinching his fourth APT title in Event #30: Big "O" Masters - PL Omaha Hi-Lo - 5 Card, mirroring his strong performance at APT Manila 2024. Beating 12 entries (8 unique players) in this competitive field, Shalaev won the top prize of VND 125,710,000 (~USD 4,950).
Japan's Hirotoshi Nakabo took second place with VND 83,810,000 (~USD 3,300), while Taiwan's Li Ta Hsu continued his strong series performance, adding another paid finish and claiming VND 52,380,000 (~USD 2,060) for third place.

Krittaporn’s first live cash and APT title comes in the women’s event.
Thailand’s Monjan Krittaporn emerged victorious in Event #32: Women's Event, claiming her first-ever APT title along with a payout of VND 67,230,000 (~USD 2,650). This win marks a significant milestone for Krittaporn, who not only celebrated her first APT title but also her first live cash in the process. The ladies-only event featured 50 entrants (37 unique).
Taiwan’s Hua-Wei Lin finished as the runner-up, securing VND 48,550,000 (~USD 1,915), while Vietnam’s Tran Thi Ngoc Minh rounded out the top three with VND 30,940,000 (~USD 1,220).

Local Bui Xuan Truong celebrated his first APT title in Event #33: Turbo - Win the Button. A regular in Vietnam's poker scene, Truong outlasted a competitive field of 69 entries (61 unique) to claim the top prize of VND 138,911,600 (~USD 5,470).
China’s Chi Zhang took second place, winning VND 100,070,000 (~USD 3,940), while Thailand’s Methuz Kaewsaikao completed the top three with a payout of VND 65,050,000 (~USD 2,560).

Taiwan’s Li Ta Hsu showcased his poker prowess once again by winning Event #34: Turbo - PL Omaha High - Win the Button. This marks Hsu's sixth APT title, as he continues his impressive streak from APT Manila and APT TPC Taipei, securing titles across consecutive series. Hsu claimed the top prize of VND 92,000,400 (~USD 3,620).
Singapore’s Andrew Hoon Haw Ong finished as the runner-up, earning VND 63,400,000 (~USD 2,500), while Danino Aviel from Israel took third place with VND 40,400,000 (~USD 1,590). This event saw the participation of 36 entrants (29 unique players).
