Japan’s Shimizu Nozomu put up a strong fight but ultimately settled for second place, earning VND 254,570,000 (~USD 10,021). Dong’s win secured him a well-deserved VND 452,560,000 (~USD 17,815).

Filipino poker pro David Erquiaga added another trophy to his ever-expanding cabinet by winning Event #22: Omaha Masters - PL Omaha High, marking his fifth APT title. With over USD 1.7 million in live earnings, Erquiaga is currently ranked sixth on the Philipines’ all-time money list. His navigated through a challenging 37-entry field (28 unique) to secure the top prize of VND 298,795,000 (~USD 11,760).

South Korea’s Min Ho Cho finished as the runner-up, taking home VND 205,920,000 (~USD 8,105), while Si Ng Pun from Hong Kong rounded out the top three with a payout of VND 131,220,000 (~USD 5,165).

For Greg, this victory marks his first APT title after what can only be described as a marathon effort—dozens of buy-ins and attempts that finally paid off in this team event! The duo split a top prize of VND 47,521,000 (~USD 1,870), which may be enough to finally put Greg in the black.

The event featured 54 entries (27 teams), and unique to this format, 20% of the prize pool was set aside for the last team standing with two players. This bonus went to Kotenok Maksim and Chudapal Siarhei, who each pocketed VND 28,285,000 (~USD 1,113).
