Hand 9 Justin Chu min-raised the button to Joseph Cheong shoved all in from the small blind. Pete Chen was in the big blind and after thinking for a while, he made the call for his last 455,000 which put him at risk. When the action got back to Chu, he made a quick fold.

Chen made the call despite being on the biggest bubble of the APT new era. The Taiwanese player needed to win a flip to stay alive but surely everybody else at the table was rooting for Cheong's snowmen to take this one down.

It was Cheong who remained the favorite on the 2♠ 4♠ 9♦ flop but Chen picked up a lot more outs on the 6♠ turn card. Any ace, queen, or spade would do the trick for Chen and he did complete his flush as the K♠ landed on the river, earning him a double-up.
