Hand 23 Weiran Pu raised to 100,000 from the hijack and Anson Ewe three-bet to 300,000 from the button. Chih Wei Fan then cold four-bet to 750,000 from the small blind. Pu got out of the way but Ewe made the call to see a flop. The 7♥ 5♠ 9♦ flop saw Fan continue for 600,000 and Ewe quickly folded which made Fan the new chip leader.

Hand 24 Jeffrey Lo min-raised to 100,000 from the hijack and Fan three-bet to 235,000 from the button. When the action got back to Lo, he made the call. An all-spade flop of 3♠ 2♠ 9♠ was checked by Lo, and Fan bet 100,000. Lo just called. The 2♣ landed on the turn and after Lo checked, Fan bet 800,000. Lo quickly called off the rest of his stack.

Fan Q♠ J♣

Lo A♠ A♦

Fan was drawing dead as the inconsequential 8♦ completed the board which doubled Lo up.
