The players in the Main Event Flight A are down to their final 3 hands.
Nevan Chang Doubles in the Last Orbit
PostedJust nowby Life of Poker - Joris
There was a lot of commotion at Table 41 as a massive preflop all-in took place between Natural8 Team Hot member Nevan Chang and Xingbiao Zhu.
Chang showed A♥ K♠, while Zhu tabled A♦ Q♣.
The flop came 6♥ T♠ 5♠. There was not much to worry about for Chang still, but that all would change when the Q♠ came off on the turn. The table and rail went crazy with excitement as Chang now behind had to hit any king, jack, or spade to win the hand.
A 3♠ on the river made Nevan Chang do a little happy dance while he raked in a massive pot. Zhu was left behind with only 7,000.
In the next hand, Zhu tripled up to 23,500.
Name | Chip Counts |

Yamamoto Pushes Zhang of the Better Hand
PostedJust nowby Life of Poker - Joris
When we arrived at Table 33 we saw Yang Zhang lead into Kazuo Yamamoto for 21,000 on a board of 9♦ K♦ J♥ 7♦ 3♣. The Chinese kept 30,000 behind and was put to the ultimate test by Yamamoto when he jammed over Zhang's bet all-in for 80,000.
Zhang angrily mumbled to himself before he mucked his cards. Yamamoto showed Zhang A♦ T♣ for ace high! What a bluff by the Japanese. Zhang furious with himself shaked his head and kept on mumbling.
An orbit later we saw Yang Zhang standing up from his table as he busted out.

Captain Sparrow Cheung Sends Shenghao Wu to the Rail

On our way back to the media area we saw action brewing at Table 39 between Sparrow Cheung and Shenghao Wu. On a board of 5♥ 5♦ 2♠ J♣ Cheung fired 6,500 into Wu. The Chinese didn't buy "Captain Sparrow's" story and jammed all in for 34,600.
Cheung tanked for a good 2 minutes before making the call with K♠ J♥. Wu stood up from his chair before he revealed 8♥ 8♠. The river bricked out and we lost Wu just before we entered the last level of the day.

Wai Kiat Lee Doubles Against Farhad Aghayev
PostedJust nowby Life of Poker - Joris
We arrived at Table 40 when the board ran out 7♥ 6♥ 5♦ 7♣ T♣, from the big blind Farhad Aghayev put his opponent Wai Kiat Lee to the test by putting him all-in for his last 37,700. In the pot at that moment were already 32,000 chips.
Lee went deep into the tank, but after a minute and a half had passed, he threw in a big chunk of purple chips into the middle.
Aghayev tabled Q♥ 9♦ for queen-high, while Lee showed K♦ 5♠.
That was an impressive call by Lee. Their table partner Taago Tamm, used a Phil Hellmuth classic to show his appreciation, "Honey, they called me with king-five!"
Aghayev slides down the chip counts after losing this big pot.

5-Way Blind All-In
PostedJust nowby Life of Poker - Joris
We just heard a 5-way blind all-in occurred in the Main Event. It was initiated by Natural8 Ambassador Danny Tang who just busted the Superstar Challenge. His close friend Wai Kiat Lee also joined the action.
When asked about who won the hand they both couldn't remember. "Look for the guy that has 200,000", is what Lee told us. Unfortunately, several players are already sitting on 200,000, so our mystery 5-way blind all-in player has not yet been revealed.
